Triskel Marine | Managing Director
Having founded Triskel Marine in 2003, Ken has long been at the forefront for electrical sensing and data management in the marine sector. Originally focussing on collecting and analysing data, Triskel lead the way in their design and development of environmental monitoring buoys. Through their learning in this sector, Triskel then went on to focus on marine hybrid power and propulsion systems.
This, in turn, has lead to their latest innovative product, Integrel, which will be formally launched at the 2018 METS show in Amsterdam immediately after the CMC. Integrel is Advanced Generator Replacement Technology, allowing vessels to generate up to 9kw of domestic energy from an existing inboard diesel engine, which can then be stored in battery banks – a game-changer for an industry heavily reliant upon outdated diesel generators.
We very much look forward to Ken’s insights into the future of hybrid technology in the marine sector – one of the key talking points in the future of the industry.
